Shipping & Cash on Delivery Policy
Every KATTAM order is quality-checked and packed with care before it leaves us. Here's everything you need to know about shipping.
1. Shipping charges (India)
- FREE shipping on prepaid orders above ₹2,499.
- Prepaid orders of ₹2,499 or below: ₹80 shipping fee.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: a ₹180 COD charge applies (no separate shipping fee).
2. When will my order arrive?
Orders are dispatched within 24–48 working hours (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). After dispatch, delivery usually takes:

During festive sales and new launches, dispatch can take a little longer. You'll get your tracking link by WhatsApp and email as soon as your order ships.
3. Cash on Delivery (COD)
- COD is available on eligible pincodes in India.
- To confirm a COD order, you pay a ₹500 token in advance. This is part of your order amount, not an extra charge. You pay the balance to the courier on delivery.
- A ₹180 COD charge applies to every COD order.
What happens to the ₹500 token if the order doesn't go through?
- If a COD order is cancelled or refused by the customer, the ₹500 token is not refunded. It covers our courier and handling costs.
- If we cancel your order (for example, the item is out of stock), the ₹500 is refunded in full.
4. Preorders
If your order has both ready and preorder items, we ship everything together once it's all ready. Want the ready items first? Ask us to split the shipment for ₹80.
5. In Chennai? Visit us or pick up
If you're in Chennai, we'd love for you to visit our Experience Centre in Adyar and see the jewellery in person (address below).
If you can't visit, you can order online and pick it up the same day:
- Order before 10:00 AM, Monday to Saturday (not Sundays or public holidays).

Message us on WhatsApp (+91 78719 86807) with your Order ID and tell us it's a pickup order.
- We'll WhatsApp you once your order is ready, with the pickup location.
- Then book your own pickup (Porter, Rapido, Swiggy Genie or similar) for 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Pickup charges are paid by you.
6. Your address
- Please enter your full address and pincode correctly.
- Give an active Indian mobile number that can take normal calls. The courier sends an OTP and calls before delivery; if they can't reach you, they won't deliver. International numbers and WhatsApp-only calls won't work.
- Once your order has shipped, the address and phone number can't be changed.
- If a parcel comes back because the address or phone number was wrong, or you couldn't be reached, a ₹100 reshipping charge applies.
7. International orders
We ship worldwide. Charges start at ₹1,680 (Singapore & Malaysia) and ₹1,980 (other countries) for up to 0.5 kg. Customs duties are paid by the customer. COD is not available. See our International Buyers page for details.
